With now five stores open and plans for expansion across all Canada, WLKN describes itself as the biggest canadian streetwear closet. Their new store opened last week in Carrefour Laval was created by design & architecture firm HATEM D. The whole boutique’s concept revolves around a central wooden alley that creates a main perspective towards a dark cube, where you will find the “walk-in” dressing rooms. Custom furniture and countertops inside the store were created by the firm Aspec.
Operated as a family business, WLKN hopes to capture the streetwear market and “get familiar” with this niche through a savvy network of instagramers, music artists and local influencers.
