We had the pleasure to tour the new Monument development project during the official unveiling.
The building located between the Mile-End and le Plateau was rehabilitated into 7 large units that combine the original architectural heritage and the new very contemporary design.
The interior courtyard have been designed with the aim of focusing on the light inside the building while offering the owner a private outdoor space.
The private patio located on the second floor is amazing. The kitchen extends outside on the terrace to provide a summer kitchen. As the sun slowly sets on the horizon, sit back and enjoy a cocktail on the terrace. Of course, gaz fireplace and wine cellar are part of the dining room.
The richness of this project comes from the natural light to the interior, and the private spaces in a very cool neighbourhood in Montreal.
Erected in 1905, the original building structure allows for an interesting layout as you can judge from the pictures. Bedrooms are wide and some of them have a view on the inner courtyard.
I was very happy to visit this project at the official unveiling! The exterior and private yard ensures an ideal space to entertain your guests. Monument is unique, modern and located in one of the coolest areas of Montreal that undergoes a major transformation. You will feel like you are in nature, but inside.
