Canadians have been vacationing in Miami since forever. Even just a boy, I have myself often fantasized about visiting the breathtaking properties along the Intracoastal waterway and the bay. Many years later, it is with great excitement that we take you on the other side of the palisades, for a vacation special of 5 articles in the magic city.
For this visit, we join Monique Assouline, a Montreal real estate broker who is currently scouting properties for clients from up north. She gladly introduced us to Allen Davoudpour from Douglas Elliman, who just listed this beautiful and contemporary single-family waterfront estate on the bay. Next thing we know, shoes are off and we step inside, gazing in awe.
“Nestled between Miami Beach and Midtown, Venetian Islands are a series of six confidential and prestigious islands all connected by a bridge across the Biscayne Bay” explains Allen Davoudpour.
This property is a showplace! 30 feet ceilings and the central mezzanine make this property grand and majestic. All the way from the front door to the backyard, we get a direct view on the pool and the open bay behind.
“I love challenges! When you reached out and asked if I could get you inside a jaw-dropping property, I gave you my word we would visit something incredible” reminds me Monique Assouline.
The boy inside me was indeed very happy.
“I help a lot of Canadians and New-Yorkers find their dream house here in Miami” tells us Allen as the sun starts to blush before the final dance. “My teams in New-York and Miami look out for each other, providing buyers with that bridge to the south”.
Upstairs, floor-to-ceiling windows reveal open bay views and a master bedroom patio overlook the pool. Outdoor living space is complete with lush foliage, climate-controlled pool, and private dockage with no close facing neighbors.
Built in 2003 with over 5,600 sf of interior living space this gated 5-bedroom, 5.5-bathroom property has been completely re-conceived with exceptional finishes throughout.
We all took a calm moment together to enjoy the late afternoon light before going our separate ways in the magic city. I would like to thank Allen Davoudpour for being such a kind host as well as Monique Assouline for making this visit happen so quickly.
