This story is part of The Journey, a series of travel and personal stories into the real estate world by editor Jeff Lee.

I’m very glad to introduce you to the team who worked on my latest listing in Vieux-Longueuil, an historic house on a corner lot that was restored with a lot of love! The three siblings who work under the company Projet AV take pride in buying and restoring houses in the Saint-Lambert and Vieux-Longueuil area.

Those two neighborhood in particular located 10 minutes from the downtown core are often prized by young family since their location can be a great compromise between suburban life and urban living. And of course, prices are going up too!

But don’t mistake these young entrepreneurs for flippers, a term usually associated with quick cash seekers and work done on the cheap. Virginie, Alexandre and Jean-Michel Roy carefully restore and transform the properties with high-end finishes and renovations in mind. After all, they live next door!

“The house we buy need a lot of love and fortunately, we have a lot of love to give!” tells us Virginie Roy.

425 de Longueuil is their most recent project, you can glance at their past transformations on their Facebook page. I met them on location on the day they were putting the final touches of the home staging.

Virginie is also an advertising producer while the two brothers and general contractors. Their combine skills and passion allow for work that is both visually striking and tight to the construction code.

You can learn more about this property asking 775 000$ and represented by Christopher Kalec and I on the official page.
