Sometimes, a couple of individuals get together to do the right thing.

The story of 320 Indian Road in Roncesvalles Village, Toronto could have been one of typical (and natural) densification. With new effective zoning allowing to erect a multiplex building, the old Arts & Craft house didn’t really stand a chance.

But somehow, a group of investors including real estate broker David Shirazi of PSR Brokerage got together to buy the house. They chose to completely gut, extend and renovate the High Park landmark, commissioning plans from local architect David Small who created a new house that honours the origins and some architectural features of the former built.

The final product is now on the market for $3 350 000 and listed with Monte Walls Burris of Trust Realty Group.
