As soon as my colleague Martin Rouleau at Engel & Völkers released this listing on the market along with Marie-France Villette, I sent him a quick note because I simply could not believe such a place could exist in the Old Montréal. And we’ve seen a lot of eccentric homes over the last 2 years (see this previous story). I’m glad we’ve catalogued yet another hidden wonder.
This 4 498 000$ PH is built on historical site Des Recollets and spreads over 5800 sq/ft. It has a private elevator that opens directly on your place. Some of the rooms remind me of the Teddy Roosevelt home Sagamore Hill, boasting his safari trophies and jungle expedition memorabilia along with other curiosities from distant worlds.
