The unique Scandinavian-inspired design was created to maximize natural light and natural green spaces. Almost all units will have two or three exterior walls with generous, oversized windows creating a natural ventilation and bright living spaces while openings were designed to minimize views between neighbours and maximize intimacy. The exterior siding will be made of Exocarp carbonized wood, a look unique in Montréal so far.
Fragmenting The Block
ELÄÄ was also designed to maximize sunlight and break the usual straight layout of a residential block, thus creating a charming environment allowing for green walls and alley amenities.
Net Zero Ready
Since solar energy costs are becoming more and more competitive with Hydro-Québec energy costs, this project will be among the firsts to have the proper wirings installed and rooftop accesses to implement a solar energy solution to any unit.
