No cooks, no stoves, no cashiers, no problem.

This fresh take on healthy fast-food called Buddha Station is the new brainchild of Christian Genest, known for his past success with the chain Sushi Taxi (recently acquired). The never settling entrepreneur / chef / traveler is making it very easy and affordable to eat something tasty & fresh in crowded office zones, where options can sometimes be limited.

“I thought it was so hard to eat something fast, tasty and healthy. Fake healthy options are available at fast food chains or dry-boring-expansive ones are somehow available for healthy food religious. So I thought: let’s find a solution for that: Buddha-Station, feast rushed people with exciting bowls” told us Christian Genest.

The company also leverages technology, allowing customers to order and pay with their mobile on their way to pick up.

“It’s 1 out of the 3 most important success ingredients of Buddha-Station, other than product and user experience. Technology is how we promote our brand, get in touch with our fans sell our products hassle-free, set preparation, inventories, distribution logistics, and scale the business.”

With already 3 Buddha Stations in operation and a development plan to open joints in 15 cities over the next 2 years, the entrepreneur shows he hasn’t lost appetite for new adventrures even after a very successful acquisition of his last concept. And as for the bowls, well look at the pictures. It sells itself!

“We are constantly looking for new local partners to implement a station within their walls” explained Mr. Genest. ” We don’t invest in exhaust fan or stove, not even cooks! Our happy ”bowlers” are assembling together ingredients that have been prepared by a local catering partner. That’s why our locations fit within 400 sq/ft.”
